Today, last day for individual tax return

As earlier blogged, today 30th Apr is the D-Day for the 2007 Tax Submission for working individuals. Being a true Malaysian, I am also like most people, wait till the last day to submit. Only this time its with e-filing, so no hassle to go and find that big clear box to drop the big envelope like before.

I met some friends who still not ready to submit their tax return and wish that IRB will extend the due date as they usually do. However, the IRB Director in her statement yesterday confirmed that there would not be any extension in the dateline for personal tax returns.

This year I got some assistance from freelance 'tax agent' and manage to reduce some taxes, assure you all legal, just by some adjustment here and there, my tax due to IRD is reduce slightly. From April this year... :-) ALL my monthly tax deduction PCB goes to ZAKAT! No further explanation..
